The Reusch X-Ray SD gloves represent pretty good value for money especially if you can get them for under £30. For the cost you can probably find better performing gloves on the market but in truth I bought these for my son due to the X-Ray skeleton design. It’s October, Halloween is around the corner and I felt he deserved a treat! They don’t have finger save so i suspect these will for training only, but they perform adequately as you would expect from Reusch.

Type
Training (untested in match conditions). Used on hard artificial surfaces and held up well.

All round.

Cut
Expanse Cut. This is similar to a flat palm but it wraps around the thumb slightly to increase the surface area.

Thumbflex, Dura Guard but no finger spines. I prefer my son to wear gloves with finger spines especially during matches or when saving powerful shots.

PVC backhand for lightweight and durability.
