These were probably the second pair of gloves that I purchased for my son. Oh how naive I was looking back, I really thought that Adidas would be fantastic and make my son a better goalkeeper. The DY2602 provided average grip and the finger save system seemed to offer reasonable protection. The issues with the gloves though are durability and quality. After one training session the latex was cut to pieces, after just a handful of sessions the seams on the edges of the hand began to split. The gloves are cheap but you can buy better gloves for the same price. Adidas gloves seem to come up small, so always go up about half a size if you can when ordering.

Type
Training and grass surface only. Avoid using on hard surfaces as the latex will not hold up to use on AstroTurf.

Weather / Season
All round but these gloves work well in wet conditions.

Cut
Positive Cut to provide a good and comfortable fit with a great contact area to the ball.

Palm
Soft Grip Pro smooth latex palm.

Finger Protection
Finger spines that stiffen and resist pressure when pushed backwards

Backhand
EVA backhand.

Fastening
Full wrap wrist strap and vented cuff. Be careful when fitting and removing these gloves as they can split easily.
